Getting Started

Initial Setup

The first steps to get your Mystrix ready for use are:

  1. Install the Anti-Slip Pad - Apply the included anti-slip pad to the bottom of your device
  2. Install Micro SD Card - Required to use Python applications in Matrix OS 3

Update to the Latest OS

See Update Matrix OS for instructions on how to update your Mystrix to the latest OS. Since Matrix OS is constantly updated, make sure you are on the latest OS and have the latest documentation to start using your Mystrix!

Start Using Your Mystrix

See the Use your Mystrix section for what others are using Mystrix for and how to get started with them, or dive deep into everything Matrix OS has to offer!

  • No, you don't need programming skills to use or even tinker with Mystrix.
  • Yes, some features might not be relevant to your specific needs. We are not trying to appeal to a specific group of people, but rather making Mystrix versatile so it can be used by anyone for whatever needs they have. Having options is a good thing!
  • Yes, Project Mystrix is an ongoing process. There are many things we want to improve, and there are still some rough edges. With your help, it will continue to evolve! We are here to listen and improve based on your feedback!
