The application launcher layout is customizable. The view in the visualizer might not be exact as the view on your device.

The Application Launcher is the main menu of Matrix OS. It allows users to select an application to use.

The top section of the Application Launcher shows the available applications. The bottom section features the app catalog selection on the left and system settings on the right.

Hold down the key to customize your application launcher layout.

Customize Layout

You can fully customize your application launcher layout to organize apps according to your preferences. The customization features include:

Application Management

• Select App: Tap an app to select it (it will light up bright while others dim). Tap any empty space to deselect.
• Move Apps: With an app selected, tap another app to swap their positions.
• Organize in Folders: Select an app and tap a folder to move it into that folder
• Hide Apps: Remove apps from the launcher view that you don't frequently use

Folder Management

• Create Folders: Empty folder slots will have a breathing animation - tap them to create a new folder
• Customize Folders: Hold on an existing folder to:
  • Change the folder color
  • Delete the folder (apps inside will return to the folder 1)
• Organize Apps: Move apps between folders to keep your launcher organized

Performance App (Selected)

If active app selected: Swap position with the selected application. If no active app selected: Select the performance application

Note App (Not Selected)

If active app selected: Swap position with the selected application. If no active app selected: Select the note application

Companion App (Not Selected)

If active app selected: Swap position with the selected application. If no active app selected: Select the companion application

Custom Control Map App (Not Selected)

If active app selected: Swap position with the selected application. If no active app selected: Select the Custom Control Map application

Lighting App (Not Selected)

If active app selected: Swap position with the selected application. If no active app selected: Select the lighting application

Dice App (Not Selected)

If active app selected: Swap position with the selected application. If no active app selected: Select the dice application

Reversi App (Not Selected)

If active app selected: Swap position with the selected application. If no active app selected: Select the Reversi application

Strum App (Not Selected)

If active app selected: Swap position with the selected application. If no active app selected: Select the Strum application

Python App (Not Selected)

If active app selected: Swap position with the selected application. If no active app selected: Select the Python application

Application Folder 1 (Active)

Application folder 1 - Created and Selected. (Hold to edit color or delete folder)

Application Folder 2 (Not Active)

Application folder 2 - Created and not selected. (Hold to edit color or delete folder)

Application Folder 3 ~ 6 (Not Created)

Application folder not created. Click on any to create them

Hidden Application Folder

Hidden Application folder - Move apps here to hide them

Exit customizing

Click the to exit editing.

Folder Editing

When you hold down on an existing folder, this menu appears allowing you to customize the folder's color or delete it entirely. Deleting a folder will return all apps inside back to the main launcher.
